Tips for First Timers
Drink water BEFORE, DURING and AFTER class! It is very important to stay well hydrated.
Go at your own rate. Listen to your body. If you feel tired or out of breath, slow down, or don't use your arms. Your body needs to build up endurance and strength, so don't think you can do it all right away.
Don't get too worried about the dancing. You don't need to be a dancer to take Zumba as long as you love music, Zumba is for you. We are all at different levels, we are all coming together to have a good time.
What to wear: Dress comfortably with clothes that breathe. Cross trainer type shoes are recommended (sneakers).
Some people wear Jazz shoes. Find what is comfortable for you.
